Description
Yellow Jacket 4 CFM vacuum pump — SuperEvac PLUS II
The Yellow Jacket 4 CFM vacuum pump pulls a deep vacuum quickly, and it holds that vacuum while you finish the job. Yellow Jacket rates it to 15 microns in the field. Because the motor is brushless DC rather than AC, it also starts on cold mornings and on weak job-site power. Cedars HVAC ships it direct from the distribution center.
Why the brushless DC motor matters
Most pumps in this class still run an AC motor. This one does not. As a result, torque stays available on demand, and the motor takes less electrical stress over its life. It also weighs over 20% less than a comparable AC pump. There is no battery either, so nothing needs charging before a call. Low supply voltage will not stall it.

Rated for A2L refrigerants
New equipment now ships with A2L refrigerants such as R-454B and R-32. Therefore Yellow Jacket fitted this pump with a non-sparking switch and rated it for A2L service. If you evacuate R-454B systems, that rating matters.

Which CFM should you choose?
Match the pump to the system. A 4 CFM pump handles most single residential systems and mini splits, and it stays light enough to carry up a ladder. Yellow Jacket builds the SuperEvac PLUS II in 4, 6, 8, and 11 CFM versions, so you can match the pump to the work instead of overspending.
