Coils from Cedars HVAC transfer heat between refrigerant and air in air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigerators, and commercial cooling equipment. An evaporator coil absorbs heat indoors or inside a refrigerated box, while a condenser coil releases heat outdoors or into the surrounding air. Replacement coils vary by equipment model, refrigerant circuit design, tonnage, rows, fin spacing, cabinet dimensions, connection locations, and metering-device compatibility. Match the coil to the manufacturer’s approved application and verify the refrigerant rating; current R-454B equipment and older R-410A systems may have different requirements. Protect fins during handling and confirm drainage and airflow after installation. Cedars HVAC can help contractors source coils for scheduled replacements.
