Oil Separators from Cedars HVAC remove compressor oil from hot discharge gas and return it to the compressor crankcase in refrigeration systems. Located in the discharge line near the compressor, they limit oil circulation through condensers, evaporators, and long piping runs, helping maintain lubrication and heat-transfer performance. Choose an oil separator by refrigerant, compressor capacity, discharge-line size, connection method, pressure rating, and the system’s oil-return arrangement. Coalescent and conventional designs serve different efficiency and application needs. The separator and oil-return components must be compatible with the refrigerant and lubricant in use, including current R-454B designs where applicable. Cedars HVAC supports contractor orders for commercial refrigeration service.
