Relays from Cedars HVAC use a low-power control signal to switch higher-power loads such as contactors, blower motors, compressors, valves, and heaters. HVAC relays come in 24-volt AC coil versions as well as 120- and 240-volt coil types, with SPST, SPDT, DPDT, time-delay, and fan-relay configurations. Choose the replacement by coil voltage, contact arrangement, continuous and inrush amp rating, terminal style, mounting, and whether the circuit needs normally open or normally closed contacts. A relay must be rated for the load it switches, not simply fit the panel. Mars and Honeywell are common names in HVAC electrical controls. Contractor pricing is available for frequently used relays.
