This is a complete 4-zone MRCOOL Olympus heat pump: the MULTI5-36HP230C-O outdoor condenser paired with 4 × O-09-HP-WMAH-230C-O indoor air handlers, sized so total indoor capacity matches the condenser’s rated capacity. There is nothing to cross-reference and no risk of ordering an air handler that will not run on the outdoor unit.

About this combination

MRCOOL does not publish a printed combination table for the Olympus multi-zone line the way it does for the DIY series. The air handler count in this system is chosen so total indoor capacity matches the condenser’s rated capacity exactly. If you want a different mix of air handler sizes, contact us first and we will confirm the combination with MRCOOL before you order.

Line sets are not included

Multi-zone line set lengths differ for every zone, so forcing a single length into the box would waste material on short runs and fall short on long ones. Choose the lengths you need from the R-454B line sets listed below. The condenser’s refrigerant connections are liquid 5 x 1/4″ and gas 4 x 3/8″ + 1 x 1/2″, and factory charge covers the standard run per zone — longer runs need additional refrigerant added at commissioning.

Installation

• This system is intended to be installed by a licensed HVAC technician. Line sets must be evacuated and charged with gauges.
• R-454B is a mildly flammable A2L refrigerant. Follow current local code for A2L equipment, including any charge-limit and ventilation requirements for the space served.
• A dedicated 208/230V circuit is required, sized to the MCA and maximum fuse rating above.
• Electrical work and refrigerant handling must comply with local code. Permits may be required in your jurisdiction.

Warranty

5-year parts and 7-year compressor limited warranty when the system is installed by a licensed HVAC technician. MRCOOL specifies professional installation for the Olympus line. Extended coverage is available through the MRCOOL Care Kit Program.
