3/4″ Water Source Heat Pump Hose Kit — 2 HCi Hoses + 2 HCi Ball Valves

This 3/4″ water source heat pump hose kit is a Cedars HVAC bundle with everything needed to connect the supply and return of one water source heat pump: two HCi HC-BMM-24 3/4″ x 24″ stainless steel flexible hoses and two HCi NT-BFF 3/4″ ball valves with union and pressure/temperature (PT) test port. All four parts are genuine HCi (Hydronic Components Inc.).

Why use a water source heat pump hose kit

Every water source heat pump needs isolation valves and flexible connections on both the supply and the return. Buying the hoses and valves together means one part number on the submittal and one line on the order. The ball valves let a technician isolate the unit for coil cleaning or compressor replacement, the unions let the unit come out without cutting pipe, and the PT ports give a quick pressure-drop reading to check flow. Add an HCi automatic balancing valve on the return if the system needs flow limiting.

How to install the hose kit

1. Install an NT-BFF ball valve on the supply riser branch and another on the return.
2. Connect an HC-BMM-24 hose from each valve to the heat pump water connections.
3. Seal male threads, tighten with a backup wrench, and avoid twisting the hoses.
4. Open the valves slowly, vent air, check for leaks, and record the PT-port readings.
